Wearing a tank top that he claims he slept in, Biloxi, Mississippi’s Charlie Mars joins the podcast today.  Boyfriend to Weeds actress Mary Louise Parker, how does Charlie react when Marty gives MLP a backhanded compliment, fearing she might be a “bitch?”

Charlie Mars opens for KT Tunstall at a sold out Tractor Tavern tonight (May 4th, 2011).  On the podcast he performs two songs live, one from his latest CD “Like a Bird, Like a Plane” and the second, a tune he crafted just last night in his Seattle hotel room, in his tank top.  “Let’s call this one, umm, ‘Blackberry Light,'” he says, moments before unveiling the song in its first public performance.
